Leave the M5 at Junction 27 (3 miles to the lodge).
Take the A361 and then immediately take the next left off the A361 to Sampford Peverell. (Don’t miss this turning; it is 7 miles until the next).
Follow signs to Sampford Peverell.
Go through Sampford Peverell village and on reaching Battens Cross (crossroads) the other side of the village, take a right hand turn to Uplowman.
Then turn left following the signs to Uplowman.
Continue until you reach the village.
You will come to a cross roads and see in front of you the Redwoods Inn. Go straight across the cross roads following the road signed to Huntsham.
Continue for half a mile (you will pass the church on your right), then take the next left, where there is a sign ‘East Mere, West Mere’ on a triangle of grass.
Continue down this road over a small bridge, when you take a 90 degree right hand bend, we are the barn conversion immediately on the left. Brick pillars …CHILLOMENE. The lodges are around the corner on the left.
